Fresh Out of Love

This was my first attempt at creating a visual novel. I've been interested in game development for some time, and I thought this would be an enjoyable project that I could handle. It might be somewhat nonsensical and odd, but I cherish it nonetheless.

It's a very short game, under 30 minutes in most cases, so please don't expect too much.

The story includes some serious themes, but as it's a work of fiction, I chose a darker narrative. I hope that's acceptable. Thank you for playing, and I hope you enjoy it.

Additionally, the game features two endings. I encourage you to discover both, although it's not particularly challenging.

The sprite images were sourced from various places online.

The backgrounds are screenshots I captured in the games Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3.

All music tracks were located on YouTube. The menu music is "Monkey Spinning Monkeys."

The background music once you start the game is "Naruto - Afternoon of Konoha."

The audio down the first choice path includes "Doki Doki Literature Club! OST - Sayo-nara" and a SOUND EFFECT for Tearing Flesh.

The audio down the second choice path includes the SOUND EFFECT for Tearing Flesh, "Pehrs puzzle" (a copyright-free track), and "AViVA - MELANCHOLY" (Lyrics).

The great storyline is all by me, though.
